Popular Mexican restaurant burns to the ground in W. Harris Co.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- We've got new video as a fire destroyed a Mexican restaurant on the west side of town.

A viewer saw the fire and began recording as firefighters arrived.

The El Tiempo restaurant on Kingsland caught fire late last night. The video posted on Facebook shows crews trying to get the fire under control.

The fire caused the roof to collapse. That's why firefighters decided to fight the flames from the outside.

No one was hurt. The building was a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
