Police arrest suspect after chase through north Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was taken into custody after leading police on a chase Tuesday afternoon through the city of Houston.

Police pursued a black Nissan truck along the Eastex Freeway for nearly 20 minutes.

Initially, the driver of the black truck refused to get out of the vehicle. Police were eventually able to arrest the suspect in the 6300 block of Aldine Bender and Old Humble.

No other details have been released.
