Punishment phase begins for man found guilty twice of teacher's death
Punishment is now going to be considered for Raul Rodriguez, who was tried twice and found guilty in the murder of his neighbor.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man convicted of shooting and killing his neighbor twice will soon learn the consequences for that crime.

Raul Rodriguez was found guilty again Friday for the 2012 murder of Houston teacher Kelly Danahar.

Rodriguez recorded the confrontation which began when he got a gun and went to his neighbor's home to complain about loud music.

The same jury that convicted Rodriguez will decide his fate.

A judge threw out his previous conviction last year because the jury did not receive proper instructions on what qualifies as self defense.
