HPD: Driver backs stolen vehicle into NE Houston restaurant

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for whoever backed a vehicle into a fast food restaurant in northeast Houston early this morning.

It happened shortly before 4am at the KFC in the 15200 block of Vickery at Beltway 8. Police say the driver of the Ford 250 van backed into the front door of the building.

Initial reports suggest the van was stolen. Police brought in a K-9 officer to search the area, but found no suspects.

At this point, it's not clear if anything was stolen from the restaurant.
