CYPRESS, TX (KTRK) -- The hunt is on for five armed men who forced their way into a woman's home in northwest Harris County today, terrorizing her and her children.

A woman and her two daughters, ages 5 and 9, were inside their Cypress home around 8:30am when authorities say five Hispanic men barged through the back door of the home. The men, police say, grabbed all of them and threw them in a closet and demanded their belongings, including jewelry and other valuables.

Some of the items taken from the home in the 15000 block of Macy Road have not been identified because they are part of the investigation.

The woman and her daughters were not hurt during the frightening ordeal.

"There were some things that were said by the suspects that gives us positive evidence that will lead us to the suspects," said Mark Herman, Asst. Chief, Precinct 4.

One of the suspects is described as having a teardrop tattoo under his eye.

The investigation and search for those men is ongoing.

If you have any information in this case, you're urged to call the Precinct 4 Constable's Office.
