Homeowner fires at police impersonators in her home
As the suspects kicked in the door of their home, the woman grabbed her gun and fired

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for two people who got into a shoot-out with a homeowner after breaking into the house.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies were called to the house in the 4000 block of Mistissin at Summerlyn around 11:30pm last night.

Deputies say a husband and wife were in the home when two men kicked in the front door and identified themselves as police. The wife woke up, grabbed her gun and fired one shot. She didn't hit anyone.

One of the two gunmen then returned fire inside the home, striking the wife three times. All of the gunshot wounds were graze wounds, and she is expected to survive. Her husband was not injured.

The two men then left the home and have not been captured.
