GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- A former self-proclaimed juvenile probation officer was arrested today on drug charges in Galveston County, according to officials.
The Galveston Sheriff's Office says after a month-long investigation, they've arrested and charged Anthony Wayne Jackson, 61. He's accused of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance after the sheriff's office says the Special Crimes Unit found about 3.2 grams of crack cocaine in his shorts after executing a search warrant of his home at 719 Roosevelt LaMarque.
The sheriff's office says the crack cocaine rocks were found on Jackson's person, concealed inside two separate containers ready for sale.
Jackson's bond is set at $10,000.
LaMarque PD Narcotics, the Galveston County Sheriff's Office Criminal Warrant Division and members of the Sheriff's Office Tactical Response Team assisted with the investigation.
