Firefighter suffers minor injury while battling house fire in Champions area

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A family had to run out of their burning home Sunday morning in the Champions area.

Fire crews arrived just after 8am and found flames and thick smoke pouring out the house.

Firefighters say the family inside did all get out safely. One firefighter suffered a minor burn on one hand.

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office is looking for the cause of the fire.
