HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An overnight fire at a north Houston car dealership destroyed several Cadillac SUVs.

Firefighters were called to Tom Peacock Nissan on the North Freeway near Richey around 1:40am. When crews arrived, they discovered several vehicles on fire.

Firefighters used foam to put the fire out. According to officials, five vehicles were a total loss and at least six other vehicles were damaged by the intense flames.

A conservative estimate of the damage could be more than a quarter million dollars.

Investigators say it appears to have been an accident and don't suspect arson.
