HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The FBI has released photos of a bank robbery suspect who got away with cash after a heist at an east Houston Bank Saturday.
According to investigators, the suspect posed as a holiday shopper before robbing the 1st Convenience Bank inside a Kroger at 12620 Woodforest at Normandy at around 1pm.
The bank's surveillance cameras captured close-up photographs of the suspect, and some show him pushing a grocery cart just before the robbery.
According to the FBI, the suspect abandoned his shopping cart and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, last seen walking eastbound from the parking lot.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s, weighing between 150 and 180 pounds and standing between 5'8" and 5'9" tall. He had tattoos under his left eye and on his neck and arms. He wore a plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and brown work boots.
