HOUSTON -- Klein Collins High School sophomore Kaitlyn Swaim is a proven champion on the school's swim team but there was a time swimming nearly took her life.

"She was in the house and the gate between the doors and the pool were knocked open by one of our dogs and she wondered out. I looked at the pool and I started screaming, she was floating on the top of the pool," said Kenna.
