Amber Alert canceled after 7-year-old boy found safe

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An Amber Alert that had been issued for a missing 7-year-old boy has been canceled. He and his mother have reportedly been found safe.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Sullivan had last been seen yesterday at around 10:30am with his mother, Angela McCammon, in the 4400 block of Harvey Road. We learned shortly after 4pm that he was found safe.

Right now, we don't have details about where the two were. Investigators issued the Amber Alert because they said McCammon had been suffering from some emotional difficulties and believed the child to be in dangere.
