Alvin ISD staffer resigns after allegations of improper relationship

ALVIN, TX (KTRK) -- A staff member at Alvin High School has resigned after allegations of an improper relationship with a student.

According to the Alvin ISD, the district received a tip through its mobile app about the relationship between the female staff member and an 18-year-old student.

Alvin ISD police launched an investigation, and the staff member resigned on Wednesday, August 27.
