Emergency crews pull body of 69-year-old drowning victim from Lake Conroe

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Emergency crews have recovered the body of 69-year-old drowning victim from Lake Conroe Monday afternoon.

The man had prior medical problems and may have simply fallen in the water, investigators said.

He began fishing sometime this morning. His family left to get breakfast and he wasn't there when they returned.

The family is in out of town from Colorado.
