2 people dead in shooting at north Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating a double homicide at an apartment complex at a 770 Greens Road in Greenspoint.

Investigators say a loved one arrived at an apartment around 7:30 Sunday morning and discovered two people dead.

Officers say the victims were shot and discovered in the bedroom.

A family friend of one of the victim's identified the victims as a young woman and her boyfriend.

"She was a very good person, a really nice person. I've never known her to be in no commotion, no kind of trouble," said Joan Pania, a family friend.

Police have not released a motive or suspect information. One of the complex's owner's said recently, the tenant who lived in the apartment had her locks changed.

She said she wanted them changed because she was concerned about someone who had a copy of her key.
