Man arrested for arson, then warns he'll start more fires

HUFFMAN, Texas (KTRK) -- A man's honesty is getting him into trouble.

Danny Abel, 44, is facing arson charges after police said he admitted to starting a fire in the 20000 block of Idlewood Rd. in Huffman, then said he would start more.

"On the scene, Abel told firefighters he started the fire and he would start more fires after firefighters left," said Huffman Deputy Chief Dean Hensley.

Abel is currently facing one charge of arson.
