HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man who killed a rival gang member will spend nearly four decades in prison.
Earlier today, Jonathan Rawlins was found guilty in the 2015 murder of Earnest Moore at a pool party. Then this afternoon, jurors sentenced him to 38 years in prison.
Rawlins also allegedly hit another woman who was attempting to escape from the fight.
Extra security has been at the courthouse this week because three people were arrested at the trial after rival gangs got into a fight.
