Woman hit by motorcycle dies in north Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A suspected drunk driver on a motorcycle hit and killed a woman walking across the road in north Houston this morning.

This accident happened at 2:10am in the 5100 block of Irvington Boulevard near Sue Street.

The male motorcyclist was traveling north on a Honda motorcycle. He crashed a short time after hitting the woman.

The driver was taken to Ben Taub hospital. Houston police say the man was determined to be intoxicated and he will be charged in this case.
