MONTGOMERY, TX (KTRK) -- Following the suggestion by County Judge Craig Doyal, Montgomery is hoping to move forward with putting together a mobility plan to see the best practices for roads within the city.
The council was set to vote on creating the mobility plan Tuesday, but not enough council members were present to do so, according to City Administrator Jack Yates.
The push comes months after council approved supporting the county's major thoroughfare plan - but with the hope that any roads built from the thoroughfare plan within the city be approved by council beforehand.
