HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Miranda Lambert concertgoer was arrested after he jumped the gate and tried to run on stage to give the country singer a bouquet of roses during her Tuesday night performance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
An abc13 viewer who witnessed the incident says it happened just as Lambert was wrapping up the concert and walking off the stage to a waiting pickup truck.
The witness says the man, who's been identified as 50-year-old Richard Worley, made it past the barricades and was about 50 feet from Lambert before security rushed him. That viewer captured the aftermath of the incident on video.
Worley is now charged with criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
