Fugitive wanted for 2016 murder in Clute captured in Mexico

Fugutive captured in Mexico

CLUTE, Texas (KTRK) -- A man wanted for a 2016 murder in Clute has been captured in Mexico.

According to police, Evaristo Meza was found by Mexican authorities last Wednesday.

He was extradited back to Brazoria County and taken to jail.

Meza is one of three suspects accused of shooting two men in July 2016.
