METRO to operate on holiday schedule starting this weekend
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- METRO will be operating on an altered schedule for the holidays.
On Saturday, Dec. 23, local buses and METRORail will operate a regular Saturday schedule. Park & Ride routes will not operate.
On Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24 and Christmas, Monday, Dec. 25, local busses and METRORail will operate a Sunday schedule. Park & Ride routes will not operate.
On Saturday, Dec. 30, local buses and METRORail will operate on a Saturday schedule. Park & Ride routes will not operate.
On New Year's Eve, Sunday, Dec. 31, buses will operate a Sunday schedule, and METRORail will operate a Saturday schedule.
On New Year's Day, Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, local buses and METRORail will operate a Sunday schedule. Park & Ride routes will not operate.
METROLift reservations and customer service offices will be closed Christmas Day, and Monday, New Year's Day. All subscription trips will be canceled.
To schedule trips for Saturday, Dec. 23, through Tuesday, Dec. 26, call the reservation line at 713-225-6716 on Friday, Dec. 22, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To schedule trips for Saturday, Dec. 30, through Tuesday, Jan. 2, call the reservation line at 713-225-6716 on Friday, Dec. 29, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You may also schedule a trip from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. the day before you need to travel by using MACS at 713-739-4690.
