NEW YORK -- First a plane, now a train. The Broadway cast of Disney's 'The Lion King' were back at it again with an impromptu performance of "The Circle of Life."
Cast member Jamal Lee Harris says the New York cast took a break between shows on June 28th and boarded the subway. They then began performing for other subway riders.
Harris posted the full performance on YouTube. He commented that "last year, the NYC subway served over 1 billion riders, and last year, 'The Lion King' became Broadway's first $1 billion show."
Back in April, Australian cast member Toni Stewart posted another impromptu 'Circle of Life' performance to YouTube. This one happened while the cast members were on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney.
