KINGWOOD, TX -- Jason Frost loved to play baseball.

When he wasn't on the field playing baseball, Jason and his dad, Kris Frost, were watching a game on the television or discussing game strategies.

Jason was selected to play on a select team this summer but was killed in a boating accident on July 1 on Lake Conroe along with his mother, Kristina Cole Frost, and aunt, Leilani Cole.

In honor Jason's memory and his love of baseball, friends of the Frost family and fellow baseball players formed a team named "Kingwood Frost;" they recently just started tournament play against other teams from around the Houston area.

"If Jason was here, he would be so impressed," Kris, who will serve as a coach for "Kingwood Frost" said. "When the accident happened, the community came together and truly supported us. We feel honored that they decided to form the team and name it 'Kingwood Frost' after Jason. We never stopped playing baseball. Jason is definitely here in spirit."
