A dagger found with the remains of King Tut is made of a meteorite, scientists say

Scientists say the metal used to fashion one of King Tut's daggers may have come from outer space.

A team of Egyptian and Italian researchers say the iron blade was forged from a meteorite.

The ceremonial dagger was found in 1925. It was one of two blades buried with the ancient pharaoh's body. Its extraterrestrial origins have long been theorized, but new technology enabled scientists to confirm the theory.
