KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Katy ISD has identified two students who were captured on cell video fighting after school. It involves students from Katy Taylor High School, and everyone on campus has been talking about it.
"I saw his face it was really bloody. I was worried," said one student.
"He was knocked out as soon as he got on the ground," said another student.
"He's stomping on his head. That was crazy," said one student.
The fight brutal fight was caught on cell phone video by Kent Waldrop, a student from Tompkins High School who happened to be near Taylor just as the fight was going down.
"He got messed up pretty bad," said Waldrop.
The fight is too brutal to show in its entirety.
"One of the guys flips the other on the ground and he starts to repeatedly stomp him on the head or kicking on his head," said Waldrop.
We have decided to stop the video after the body slam before the fight gets too bloody.
He had a lot of blood dribbling out of his mouth down to his chest as he was trying to get up," said Waldrop.
Late this afternoon Katy ISD released a statement saying in part:
"This altercation took place off campus and after school hours on Tuesday April 5th...school administrators have been in contact with the students' parents and have confirmed that the injuries are non-life-threatening."
"After he knocked him out he shouldn't have kept going at it," said Waldrop.
Meantime students are wondering just how their classmate is doing after what they saw online.
"I saw the whole video. That kid got destroyed," said another student.
The Harris County Sheriff's office says it was initially called for a "fight in progress," but when they arrived on scene the deputy didn't see anything. It said unless someone comes forward and reports it, it's not their case.
