John Wayne Cancer Foundation Launches 'Show Your Grit' Campaign

As the world celebrate's John Wayne's birthday -- his family is continuing his legacy by trying to find a cure to cancer. The John Wayne Cancer Foundation, whose mission is to bring courage, strength, and grit to the fight against cancer, just launched its 'Show Your Grit' campaign.

The initiative's goal is to raise awareness and money for the Foundation's efforts. To help, all you have to do is snap a photo with your cowboy hat or bandana and caption it with hashtag #ShowYourGrit.

For each photo posted on social media, the John Wayne Cancer Foundation will donate one dollar to help combat cancer research.

The campaign will run from May 26, 2016, through June 19, 2016.
