KENEFICK, TX (KTRK) -- "He's walking around just calmly with his thing hanging out of his pants," said Ashley Bowden.

Bowden had an SUV filled with kids when she stopped to get gas at Simmons Grocery in Kenefick Monday. She wishes she never would've looked up from the pump.

"This was a grown man who purposely pulled up to the gas pump to do that," she explained. "He didn't get gas in his car. He just got out to expose himself to me and it wasn't just me. It was two little girls."

Bowden's three-year-old son was too young to understand, but her ten-year-old daughter and daughter's nine-year-old friend saw everything.

"They're like, 'What's wrong?' and I'm like, 'Oh my God.' They look over and they're like, 'Oh, he just flashed me.' She said he lifted up his shirt and showed her."

That's when Bowden says the man rushed into his vehicle. But she followed him, taking pictures. Photos show what looks like a white four door Mitsubishi with damage to the driver's side fender.

"He's lucky I didn't have a gun because I would've shot him," Bowden said. "I don't know what he's capable of. Rape? He's already walking around exposing himself. I'm alone with three kids."

Kenefick is a town of less than 600 people. The grocery store owner thinks he's seen the man before.

"We've never had a problem with that young man before," said Zafar Khan. "This is the first time we've heard anything about him."

"I don't recall something like that happening in this particular area ever," said Capt. Ken DeFoor with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office. "This may be a first for this particular small town of Kenefick."
