NEW YORK -- With temperatures soaring into the 90s this week, New Yorkers are left to look for ways to stay cool. And there's no better cold treat than ice cream, right?
We wanted to see if there was a distinct difference in the melting time of chocolate and vanilla.
You'd think the chocolate's darker color would absorb more of the sun's energy and melt faster, but that wasn't necessarily the case in our unscientific experiment. It was a close race.
