David Nuno breaks down reasons for optimism heading into the 2016-17 season.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Rockets open up play against the Los Angeles Lakers and the schedule makers did not do them any favors.

The Rockets will play on the road 14 out of their first 20 games.

There is a reason for optimism with new head coach Mike D'Antoni, who will help the Rockets offense. Even though they have James Harden, at times last season, their offense was stale.
