Houston Dynamo gets new primary owner

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Dynamo has a new primary owner.

The team confirms it was sold to businessman Gabriel Brener, who's already had a stake in the team since 2008. The team was owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group.

Brener owns the Brener International Group, LLC, a Los Angeles-based private investment firm. The company, according to the team's website, acquires and grows ownership stakes in companies with strong growth potential.
