Slide your way to a better booty
A towel could be your key to getting toned legs and thighs.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Have you ever considering sliding your way to sexy legs? Fit Athletic Club group fitness director Kelley Davidson said it's easier than you might think!

If you have hard floors, grab a towel. If you have carpet, grab a paper plate, and get ready to slide. The purpose of using a towel or paper plate while doing lunges and squats is to cause the entire body to stabilize, making these typical exercises more challenging:

LUNGES: Put the towel under one foot. Stand up straight and drag the foot with towel back into a lunge, then drag it back in. Repeat on both legs.

SIDE LUNGES: Keep the towel under your foot and slide the foot out to the side, squatting back with the stable foot. Then, slide the leg back in and stand up. Repeat on both legs.

AROUND THE WORLD: With the towel under one foot, slide the leg back while lunging with the stable foot. Then, drag the foot out to the side and to the front, drawing a semi-circle with the foot, and at the end stand up back. Then, start at the front and draw a semi-circle to the back. Repeat on both legs.

Repeat each exercise until you feel challenged. For beginners, that might be about 10 reps, but more advanced exercisers, try 15 to 20 reps.
