Formerly conjoined twin discharged from hospital in time for Mother's Day

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We've learned one of the formerly conjoined twin girls separated in a 26-hour surgery at Texas Children's Hospital was discharged Friday from the hospital, just in time for Mother's Day.

Knatalye Hope Mata was released and her sister Adeline Faith is expected to be released within the next few months, according to the hospital. The girls' family will remain in Houston until she's able to go home also.
