Artificial eye found outside Memorial gym claimed by owner

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A strange case of lost and found now has a happy ending.

Earlier this week, we told you a man found an artificial eye on the ground outside the Memorial Athletic Club. The owner, at the time, was nowhere to be found.

This morning, we learned the eye's rightful owner came forward and claimed the one-of-a-kind eye, which, by the way. is worth about $3,000.
