SPRING BRANCH, TX (KTRK) -- Two of the Harlem Globetrotters met with some Spring Branch students Wednesday to talk to them about bullying, but it was an extra special visit for an 8-year-old cancer patient who saw them three years ago.

Globetrotters Flight Time Lang and Bull Bullard were at Frostwood Elementary School as part of ABC's Bullying Program, which is about action, being brave and showing compassion to prevent bullying.

During the program, the Globetrotters recognized 8-year-old cancer survivor George, who is also a big fan of the Globetrotters.

"It was fun doing trick shots with them," George said.

George met them several years ago for the first time while he was getting treatment and couldn't leave his home, but he is now in remission and his mother said their family couldn't be more blessed.

"Three years later and it is just a completely different story. We're just so grateful to be where we are today," George's mother, Katherine Gring said.

The Globetrotters will be playing on December 26 and 27 at NRG.
