HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A game warden shot and killed an alligator outside a west Houston office building this morning.

Someone inside the building on Park Row spotted the gator early this morning and called 911. Police and a game warden responded to the scene.

The game warden killed the 10-foot long alligator. They believe it was washed into Addicks Reservoir during recent flooding and became lost trying to get out.
