Fort Bend County Fair kicks off with parade

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- The 79th annual Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo kicks off today in Rosenberg. The festivities begin with a parade scheduled for 9 AM.

Carnival rides open an hour later at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds at 4310 Hwy 36 South. There's a host of different events including lawn tractor racing, a dare devil motorcycle act, and BBQ cook-off.
