Ford is now taking applications for its most expensive car yet.

The limited production Ford GT supercar is the carmaker's most advanced production vehicle.

The company says its application process is similar to the approach used by Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Only 500 of these cars will be made during the first two years of production, but Ford has not said whether more will be produced.

Of course, if you want to get one of these beauties, it will come at a hefty price tag. The Ford GT supercar is expected to start at $450,000.

The car features a turbo-charged, 3.5 liter v-6 engine, and a body made from expensive carbon fiber and aluminum.
