HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The City of Houston is making an effort to remove storm debris from the Greenspoint area.
Mayor Sylvester Turner toured the flood-ravaged area with other city officials.
Turner says the city has identified 17 apartment complexes with heavy damage. The city sent 20 solid waste trucks today to help remove the debris.
"We said we would be there beyond the informational meetings, and we are here," Turner says. "And we are getting this debris removed."
