Washington was charged in this way because investigators say she she was intoxicated and had two young children in the car with her at the time of the accident.[br /][br /]Prosecutors say this was not the first wreck Washington was involved in on Saturday. They say she was in two relatively minor hit-and-run wrecks before the fatal accident. The victims in those wrecks reportedly followed Washington to try to exchange information with her, and became witnesses to the fatal accident.[br /][br /]Police say Washington tried to flee the fatal wreck, too, but was blocked in by the drivers who were involved in the earlier accidents.[br /][br /]VIDEO: West Loop shut down for hours Saturday after deadly wreck[br /][post ID="1328248" /]
