PHOTOS: Who's up for a Grammy in 2015? Nominations announced
Nominations for the 2015 Grammy Awards were announced Friday morning, and newcomer Sam Smith is stealing the show.

Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran, both of whom are now nominees, announced the first four categories. Announcements continued on Twitter, and by the time eight categories had been announced, "Stay With Me" singer Sam Smith had been nominated in half of them.
In the midst of the announcements, Beyonce hit a milestone, becoming the most Grammy-nominated female in history. That title was previously held by Dolly Parton.
The Grammy Twitter account announced the nominations throughout the morning by retweeting video announcements from artists, journalists and more.
The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be on Feb. 8., 2015.
