Judge orders Boston Marathon bomber to pay $101M to victims

BOSTON, MA -- A federal judge has ruled that the Boston Marathon bomber must pay his victims more than $101 million.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death for the April 2013 attack that killed three people and wounded more than 40 others.

Restitution payments to the 49 victims and their families must begin immediately, the judge says.

The judge also denied the Tsarnaev defense team's motion for a new trial.
