Dozens of vibrant murals added to Downtown Houston

HOUSTON, Texas -- 19 new murals are greeting tourists and residents across Downtown Houston.

They were painted by renowned artists from across the world as part of the outdoor exhibit Big Art Bigger Change. The project was curated by the non-profit group "Street Art for Mankind."

"We are grateful actually with the reaction of the public and happy to give more to them because we believe that every community in Houston deserves beauty and inspiration," Street Art for Mankind co-founder Audrey Decker said.

The initiative started in 2022 with 10 murals. In May 2023, the work started on 19 more with each piece raising awareness for social and environmental issues.
