Shooter on the run after killing 1, injuring 1 on Richmond Ave.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man is dead and another was injured in a shooting at a Richmond Avenue strip center overnight.

Police said the violent double shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in the parking lot of the strip center.

Officers found the body of one victim at the scene. Another man with a gunshot wound was taken to a west Houston hospital, where he is recovering.

Houston police said no one has been taken into custody.
