Two people killed in Montgomery County crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A sewer company worker and a driver were both killed in a Tuesday afternoon crash in Montgomery County.

The wreck happened just after 3pm on the Highway 59 feeder road just south of FM 1314. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the worker was standing behind his pump truck to clean sewer lines. The driver of a Chevy Cobalt disregarded the cones around the truck and slammed into it.

The worker and the car's driver were both killed in the crash. Authorities have not released the identification of either.
