HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A devastated wife is asking for any information into the early-morning killing of her husband.
Carrie Graham says her husband Tam Graham was getting ready for his regular morning Houston Chronicle newspaper delivery route when someone shot and stabbed him to death.
This happened at an apartment complex in the 500 block of El Dorado, where the couple and their children live.
"My husband was a great man. Everyone love my husband, got along with my husband. He had no enemies," said his widow. "It was a coward that came up behind him, snuck up behind him and just did this to him."
Stephen Graham, the oldest son, echoed his mother's feelings.
"I'm the one, I found him this morning and that's the hardest thing for anyone to go through. My best friend in the whole world is gone," he said.
Tam Graham worked two jobs. He would deliver the Houston Chronicle newspaper in the morning, something he's done for 20 years; he also, family members say, work as a TV installer.
Houston police homicide detectives were out in the apartment off El Dorado earlier Friday afternoon and spoke with a number of witnesses.
It's unclear if police have any suspects yet.
Anyone with information is asked to call Houston police or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
