Reward offered for suspect in serious hit and run accident in Houston

Houston (KTRK) -- Police are seeking information on a man they say was involved in a hit and run accident in Houston.

The accident happened around 4:10pm in the 2300 block of Fountain View Dr., on September 3.

Officers say a 45-year-old man was working in an apartment complex parking lot when a white SUV hit him from behind.

A witness told police a man exited the vehicle after the accident before fleeing the scene without rendering aid.

The victim suffered severe lacerations to his face and head trauma. He was admitted to a Houston hospital in serious condition.

The driver is male, 25 to 30 years old with black wavy hair.

Police say the make, model and license plate of the vehicle in this accident are not known, and no photos or video recorded the incident.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in this case.
