HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The 2015 Entertainment Coupon Book is here, and it's going digital!
Bruce Johnson is part of the organization called the 1000 Men Empowerment Group, and they are selling the books as a fundraiser.
"This is something that will save you money! A portion of your purchase will go directly to a charitable organization which is Angel Tree," said Johnson. "The proceeds we raise is going to children of incarcerated parents."
He is selling the 2015 Entertainment Book for $35, complete with a premiere dining pass, which means discounts on higher end restaurants. So far, it hasn't been a tough sell.
"Thousands upon thousands of savings - anything from fine dining to casual dining to travel, everything has been put into the 2015 Entertainment Book," Johnson said. "You can see some of these coupons, some of them are worth $200, $300."
It's a value that Lakesha Burns couldn't pass up!
"I am always looking for a coupon for my family of five, so this is a really great deal," Burns said.
While the book is bulky, you can find many of the coupons available for download on the mobile device via the Entertainment App. New offers are added to the app daily to offer even more savings. Geo-locators will let you find savings offers near you too.
The discounts don't just stop at food. There are plenty of retail coupons, as well as entertainment deals. The book is full of hundreds of half off discounts and 2-for-1 offers for local restaurants, theaters, sporting events, shopping, travel, and more.
