NEW YORK (KTRK) -- A New York performance artist played a concert in Times Square for a specific crowd: dogs.
Laurie Anderson's latest show, "A Concert for Dogs," gave pups priority seating on Monday night.
And just what is priority seating at this kind of concert? Anderson says the music performed was at a low, dog-friendly frequency.
People could hear the performance with wireless headphones.
Local station NY1 reports the show included an excerpt from Anderson's documentary "Heart of a Dog" that also honored her late husband, legendary rocker Lou Reed.
Anderson performed a similar concert years earlier outside Australia's Sydney Opera House.
