The president of Hispanic Health Coalition gives ¡Viva Houston! a preview of Houston's Latino Health Summit.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Latino Health Summit in Houston aims to improve the health status of Hispanic families.

This year's event is scheduled for November 29th at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Maria Cantu-Ondarza, president of the Hispanic Health Coalition, says the focus of the summit is on changes in the healthcare system and its effects on Latino health.
